Integrations

If it has an API, we can design the integration.

TechRacine connects legacy and modern systems with REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, sync jobs and monitoring — scoped honestly around what each platform actually supports.

What we work with

Custom API integrations, built around your systems.

We design integration layers for the platforms you already run — whether they are modern, legacy or somewhere in between.

REST / JSON APIs

We build clients for REST and JSON APIs — reading, writing and syncing records with pagination, filtering and error handling.

Auth: OAuth2, keys, tokens

We handle OAuth2 with refresh flows, API keys and bearer tokens — stored securely and monitored for expiry.

Webhooks vs polling

We use webhooks for real-time events and scheduled polling or nightly jobs where webhooks are not available.

Data mapping

We define explicit field maps and transformations so codes, statuses and formats match on both sides.

Retry queues

Failed calls go to a retry queue with backoff — so temporary outages do not mean lost data.

Logging & monitoring

Every sync run is logged with alerts on failures, so your team always knows what moved and what needs review.

Capability indicator — not a claim of official partnership or certification. Feasibility depends on available APIs, documentation and access.

Use cases

Typical custom-API workflows we build.

Common patterns for legacy and modern systems.

01 · LEGACY

Legacy connectors

We build connectors for older databases and on-premise systems — extracts, file drops or direct queries bridged to modern APIs.

02 · SYNC

Two-way sync

We keep two systems in agreement — customers, products, orders — with conflict rules and change tracking.

03 · ETL

Scheduled ETL

We run nightly or hourly extract-transform-load jobs for reporting, migrations and bulk updates.

04 · MIDDLEWARE

Middleware layer

We build a central integration layer with auth, mapping, queues and logging — so new systems plug in cleanly.

Engineering notes

What we design for in every API project.

The details that separate a demo from a dependable integration.

Auth & tokens

OAuth2 refresh flows, API keys and token storage — scoped, secure and monitored for expiry.

Webhooks vs polling

Real-time webhooks where supported; scheduled polling as the reliable fallback and safety net.

Data mapping

Explicit field maps, code translations and validation rules agreed with your team before go-live.

Retry queues

Backoff retries, dead-letter review and idempotency guards so re-runs never create duplicates.

Logging & monitoring

Run logs, record-level tracing and failure alerts — so every sync is auditable and supportable.

How we work

The TechRacine approach.

Discovery first — we confirm feasibility before we commit to a design.

01
Discover

Review APIs, docs, access and data structures to confirm what is possible.

02
Design

Define mapping, auth, sync frequency, retries and monitoring.

03
Build

Implement connectors and sync jobs in stages with test runs.

04
Monitor

Go live with logging, alerts and support as volumes grow.

Example

Example workflow: nightly legacy-to-API sync.

Step 3 · Load

FAQs

Custom API questions, answered honestly.

If it exposes a usable API or integration mechanism and we get the required access and documentation, we can usually design an integration around it — otherwise we say so during discovery. Closed systems with no API, export or webhook path cannot be integrated reliably, and we will tell you that early.

We build auth handling for OAuth2 flows including refresh tokens, API keys and bearer tokens — stored securely, scoped to least privilege, and monitored for expiry so syncs do not silently stop.

We use webhooks where the platform supports them for real-time events, and scheduled polling or nightly ETL jobs where it does not. Many integrations combine both: webhooks for speed, polling as a safety net.

We define explicit field maps, transformations and business rules — codes, statuses, currencies, units — and validate before writing to the target system, with an error queue for records that need review.

We build retry queues with backoff, detailed logging and alerts so failed syncs are retried or routed for review instead of lost. Contact us to scope monitoring for your systems.
